Our Story
A passion for quality meat led the Perry family patriarch to found a modest butcher shop in 1979 in southeast Houston.
In 1986, renowned restaurateur Chris Perry persuaded his father Bob to add dining tables in the market, paving the way for an expansion that quickly gained a loyal following. Today, this original market has evolved to become a premium marketplace and popular local restaurant serving USDA Choice steaks, a famous pork chop, and other grille favorites along with Perry’s reserve wines and its newest offering - cocktails! And to mark it’s 45th anniversary, the restaurant recently underwent an extensive renovation with a reimagined look and feel to give a modern twist on Perry’s Restaurant’s butcher shop legacy
